After playing a pair of road games in San Antonio on Wednesday and Friday, the Wolves return home on Saturday against Milwaukee and Sunday against Providence to begin a stretch that sees the squad play seven of eight contests at the Allstate Arena; Chicago's .768 winning percentage on home ice this season leads the AHL (21-6-1-0).


--- Brett Sterling: Recorded a point in six straight games, one shy of matching a season-high, racking up five goals and four assists during that span ... Shares the AHL lead with 29 goals and ranks 12th in the league with 51 points in just 45 contests ... Leads the AHL with eight game-winning goals, which includes four in Chicago's last six outings ... Shares fourth in franchise history with 84 markers in 122 career games in a Wolves uniform over two seasons

--- Jason Krog: Leads the AHL with 52 assists and 77 points in 55 outings this season, which includes notching three points (G, 2A) in his last two games ... Shares sixth in the league with 25 goals, two shy of tying a professional career high ... Collected career bests in assists (54) and points (80) in 44 tilts with the Wolves last season.

--- Ondrej Pavelec: Posted wins in eight of his last nine appearances, holding rivals to just 10 goals during that span (228 saves on 238 shots) ... Leads AHL rookies and shares second overall with 23 wins in just 32 appearances this season (23-9-0) ... Racked up a 2.68 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage this season

--- Alexandre Giroux: Posted a goal in two straight games and 11 points (7G, 4A) in 11 games during February ... Ranks third on the Wolves with 19 goals and sixth with 41 points despite appearing in just 44 of the team's 55 games ... Potted 65 goals over the last two seasons, which includes playoffs, third-most in the AHL during that span

--- Jesse Schultz: Netted a point in three straight games (G, 2A) and in five of his last six (2G, 3A) ... Ranks second on Chicago with a career-high 31 assists and third with 48 points, tied for 16th in the AHL

--- The Wolves hold an eight-point cushion for the West Division lead and three-point edge for the top spot in the Western Conference, despite playing in just 55 games, tied for second-fewest in the AHL.

--- Chicago's 40 wins and 82 points - the most through 55 games in franchise history - rank second only to the Providence Bruins (42 wins/85 points); the Wolves and Bruins square off at the Allstate Arena in their second meeting of the season on Sunday at 6 p.m.

--- Providence edged Chicago, 4-3, in the only other matchup between the squads this season at Dunkin' Donuts Center on Dec. 8.

--- The Wolves have allowed just 11 goals over their last 10 games (9-0-1-0), holding rivals to one or fewer markers seven times during that span; Chicago is allowing an average of 2.64 markers per game this season, eighth-fewest in the league.

--- Four of Chicago's six goals over the last two games have been recorded on the power play; the Wolves lead the AHL with 79 man-advantage markers, 11 more than the next closest team.

--- The Wolves and the other 28 AHL teams are required to submit their playoff-eligible rosters to the league office by Thursday at 2 p.m. CST.


The Wolves will host their third annual book drive, to benefit Book Worm Angels, at home games this weekend on March 1 and 2. --- The Manitoba Moose earned a 2-1 overtime victory over the Wolves at the Allstate Arena when a errant pass by a Chicago player on a delayed penalty call went the length the ice and landed in the empty net
--- Center Bryan Little netted the Wolves' lone tally while netminder Ondrej Pavelec posted 21 saves on 22 shots in the loss
