Training Camp: Day 2

Hey everyone, I hope that everyone had a good weekend. Today is the start of a new week as well as a new month, 29 more days until Halloween so start thinking of some costume ideas.

Yesterday at camp we started off with a pregame skate for the guys who were taking off to Peoria to take on the Rivermen. After that, the guys that didn't make that trip had a practice followed by a workout.

After hanging out at the rink for a little bit after the workout, some of the guys headed over to Chipotle for lunch. I am still kind of stuck between Chipotle and Qdoba. I mean, they are both very good but I do like how Qdoba has the queso dressing. So I have to say that I am more of a Qdoba fan but just for that reason. Once I was done with that, I headed back to the hotel, watched some TV, and fell asleep for a couple of hours. Woke up at 5 p.m. so my nap was a little longer than expected but was pretty refreshing. For dinner, my roommate (John Negrin) and I headed over to Harry Caray's for dinner. What a great place. If you have never been there before, I would suggest it. They have an excellent menu.

After dinner we headed back to the hotel and watched the Bears vs. Cowboys on Monday Night Football. I never used to watch football before this season, but I have started watching it. I don't know all the rules but I'm slowly learning. I have never been to a NFL game and I always thought it would be a blast to go watch one. Seattle is only about two and a half hours from my home town in British Columbia so I always thought it would be fun to go to a Seahawks game, even though I never watched it on TV.

Today we have a intersquad scrimmage with team A vs. team C. I am on team A so hopefully we can come out with a victory. We lost our first game to team B, so hopefully we bounce back with a big win.

Thanks again everyone for reading. I hope you're enjoying them.
